Healthy Banana Almond Flax Smoothie

This one of my favorite Smoothies.

I use Almond or Coconut Milk, but you can also use real Milk. This is a very nutritious drink after my Pilates Sessions and the Almond Butter is a good source of plant protein.

Ingredients:
1 medium to large banana
1 heaping spoonful of almond butter
2 spoonfuls flax seed
1/2 cup almond milk, yogurt or regular milk
drizzle of honey, agave nectar or maple syrup
dash almond or vanilla extract
Instructions: Toss all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Since this smoothie doesn’t require any ice, just frozen banana, even a cheap blender can handle it!
