In lush 1937 cine-color , the beautiful and glamorous Constance Bennett takes us though her typically lavish [ for a Hollywood Starlet ] daily beauty routine, complete with attending house maid !

It’s fun to see what the makeup and hair of the era really looked like, and even more interesting to see how relatively straightforward the skin care was — no serums, no toners and scrubs, just a waterless cleanser and a mask you leave on as long as you can. Even the makeup is pretty simple (although it does make us wish rouge was still the norm). And her tips are not bad either.
